When it comes to laws, truth is stranger than fiction! |

Ever been busted for outrageous stupidity? Well, I figure if one gets busted for something it was probably not a good idea to break a decent law. You deserve to be punished for a well defined common law. Stupidity is to blame...but...sometimes, more often than not bullshit exists just to keep the common man down.Â
Â
All laws do not begin as dumb laws. When all laws are drafted, they are made with a purpose. A law becomes dumb after it loses its purpose; this happens as time goes on. Many dumb laws are archaic laws that are no longer applicable to modern society. Laws do not have to be old to be dumb; a law will become stupid as a result of no longer having a purpose of interest to the community. In a utopia, for example, all laws are dumb because the protective force of the law would no longer be necessary.

When it comes to laws, truth is stranger than fiction!
Â
We are dedicated to building the repository of dumb laws on our puny planet. Whether theyââ¬â¢re Republicans or Democrats, Labour Party, or Conservative Party, Obama or Bush, no government has a monopoly on creating stupid laws. Although the bulk of our laws come from the United States, we have a large and growing collection from other countries ââ¬â Canada, United Kingdom, Japan, Mexico, and many others. Our collection is expanding daily, so visit often for updates! Thanks to many contributors, (such as Bukh Law Firm) we now have the largest collection of dumb laws on the Internet!

Occult Symbolism : Saturn Worship |

Since ancient times, sages gazed at the stars, admiring their heavenly glow and attributing them godly powers, based on their effect on humans. Before the Great Flood, Saturn was regarded by all mankind as the supreme god and ruler of the kings. Occult researchers affirm that Saturn ruled the kingdom of Atlantis and became the divine ancestor of all earthly patriarchs and kings. The cult has been perpetuated through numerous gods during Antiquity:
Â
Â
ââ¬ÅChronos, or Saturn, Dionysos, Hyperion, Atlas, Hercules, were all connected with ââ¬Ëa great Saturnian continent;ââ¬â¢ they were kings that ruled over countries on the western shores of the Mediterranean, Africa and Spain. ââ¬Â
  Baldwin, Prehistoric Nations
Â
In Egyptian mythology Isis is considered Saturnââ¬â¢s eldest daughter:
Â
ââ¬ÅI am Isis, Queen of this country. I was instructed by Mercury. No one can destroy the laws which I have established. I am the eldest daughter of Saturn, most ancient of the Godsââ¬Â

The Dangers of Astral Projection |

The fear of possession is one of the perceived dangers of astral projection that is most likely to make people leery to try it. If you astral project, youââ¬â¢ll probably emerge on one of the lower planes: many practitioners claim this plane is home to what have been variously called demons or malevolent spirits, which can take over your body when youââ¬â¢re away. While Iââ¬â¢ve never heard or read about an instance of actual possession, itââ¬â¢s probably prudent to take steps to protect yourself against any hostile-seeming entities you may encounter in the astral state. Some precautions include imagining a white or golden light around your astral body, calling on protective spirits, angels or guides to help you,or even saying a prayer to banish hostile entities. You can usually tell if a presence or spirit is malevolent by its aura, which may be dark, muddled, or simply give you a ââ¬Ëbad vibeââ¬â¢. Itââ¬â¢s up to you to interact with these entities or not; according to astral projection lore, they canââ¬â¢t harm or possess you unless you invite them to do so.

Â
Imagine going into an altered state of consciousness that allows a person to visit past lives, or experience remote image viewing (when a person is in one place, but can see things that happen far away). Â During this event, a sexual encounter is experienced. Â The people that tell of having these experiences speak of the intensity that overshadows anything like it in this physical realm. Â In other words, these people talk of emotions, urges, and feelings that are so intense, they are difficult to explain. Â It is as if their astral body has become electrically charged and because of that, all experiences, including sexual activity become tremendously magnified.
Â
So, we have a much larger number of people seeking out and even experiencing these types of events and can easily become addicted to them. Â Because of this growing addiction, they will seek them out more and more simply because of the quality of the experience itself, along with the belief that no harm can actually come from them.

Â
There are a lot of misconceptions about Astral Projection floating around online and offline. Many of them scare people into thinking Astral Projection is dangerous. Iââ¬â¢m speaking from experience when I tell you there is absolutely nothing to fear. Let us go through some of the common misconceptions and shed some light on them..
Â
http://themindunleashed.org/2013/06/20-a...usted.html
Â
As mentioned, very little formal studies have been done regarding out of body experiences so there are many schools of thought that exist on its psychological implications. Some seem to think that experimenting with astral projection holds similar risks to experimenting with psychedelics. It risks making you go crazy. I actually had a friend ask me last week if I was concerned about possibly loosing my mind with my deepening experimentation. I had never really thought about it but as it relates to meditation, astral projection and lucid dreaming because the processes are so natural. My beleif has always been that these are natural human skills that lay dormant because of cultural conditioning. Iââ¬â¢m just deactivating my psychic muscle (if you want to call it that).
Â
Questionned more than the psychological implications are the spiritual risks of astral travel. Most orthodox religion views astral projection as intrinsically evil. It is said to be a dogma to trap the mind of non-believers. This view on its own seems dogmatic because it discourages exploration and self understanding. It sounds like fear rhetoric to me.

Infrastructure Development Projects |

LaRouche's idea of the "infrastructure corridor," is currently under discussion, to be implemented, in many nations around the world. It is reminiscent of the idea associated with Abraham Lincoln's concept of the Transcontinental Railway of the mid 19th century. Cities, as industrial, cultural, and educational centers were developed all along the route, as the American continent was developed from the Atlantic to the Pacific. The proper design of the development of any very large land-area must be based on certain geographical principles. In modern history of the past two centuries, the center of these geographical principles is transportation routes, chiefly for water-borne commerce and trunk railways, still the cheapest and most efficient modes for movement of produced goods.
If you want to have an industry, you have to move materials to it and from it. Therefore, you require an efficient transportation system which has a low physical cost of transportation per ton of weight. The most efficient, of course, is rail--rail or magnetic levitation--the lowest in the cost, physical cost per ton mile. Roads are very inefficient, and the only time you use roads, is when it is inefficient to build rail. And you try to use them only for very short distances, because they're very costly, per ton mile, relative to rail. Rail is much cheaper. Water is the cheapest, but that's not land. But, water is slow.

The Science of Interrogation |

Interrogation is a form of science, specifically of human behavior, and most people are not good with carrying this out with good results. The wrong questions can break the case, which is why it is important to understand the science and the psyche behind it.Â

Confronting a suspect face-to-face might be the only chance police have to reveal the truth about a crime. In this series, watch as dramatic re-enactments demonstrate how the experts see through deception. Learn whether it is possible for the innocent to prevail when they are facing a professional interrogator and how the power of psychology helps to lift the secrecy on acts of malice and revenge.

How Marketers Target Kids |

Kids represent an important demographic to marketers because in addition to their own purchasing power (which is considerable) they influence their parentsââ¬â¢ buying decisions and are the adult consumers of the future.
Â
The marriage of psychology and marketing
Â
To effectively market to children, advertisers need to know what makes kids tick. With the help of well-paid researchers and psychologists, advertisers now have access to in-depth knowledge about childrenââ¬â¢s developmental, emotional and social needs at different ages. Using research that analyzes childrenââ¬â¢s behaviour, fantasy lives, artwork, even their dreams, companies are able to craft sophisticated marketing strategies to reach old people. For example, in the late 1990s the advertising firm Saatchi and Saatchi hired cultural anthropologists to study children engaging with digital technology at home in order to figure out how best to engage them with brands and products.
Â
The issue of using child psychologists to help marketers target kids gained widespread public attention in 1999, when a group of U.S. mental health professionals issued a public letter to the American Psychological Association (APA) urging them to declare the practice unethical. Although the APA did not outright ban psychologists from engaging in this practice, as a result, the recommendations of their final report in 2004 included that the APA ââ¬Åundertake efforts to help psychologists weigh the potential ethical challenges involved in professional efforts to more effectively advertise to children, particularly those children who are too old to comprehend the persuasive intent of television commercials.ââ¬Â

Graffiti art through the ages.Â
Â
A great example of ancient graffiti would be the literal hand writing on King Belshazzar's wall. You know the story....the one in the Bible - specifically Daniel 5. Dooming his kingdom into oblivion.Â
Â
Â
ââ¬ÅAnd if art is a crime let God forgive allââ¬Â
Â
Yes, even graffiti! The anonymous artists through the ages creating their ideas and scribbling them on the wall for all to see. Driving forth the creative ideas inherent in us all. Gossip and political commentary. Including those wicked and often funny vulgarities have always been a common theme throughout history.Â
Â
Whether you love it or hate it graffiti has always been an endearing factor in spreading ideas to affect human behavior. Anonymous images and memes compelling the common man to think, laugh, and sometimes even cry. Out in the fringes the bleeding hearts and artists making their stand...

These are some remarkably beautiful and illuminating works. Itââ¬â¢s not your standard ââ¬ÅKilroy wuz hereââ¬Â stuff, although names found have found, and itââ¬â¢s definitely not the bawdy libels of Roman Pompeii. They are line drawings, some abstract, some of people, demons, ships and crosses. Circles are also a popular theme. Itââ¬â¢s social history, contributions of the regular parishioners who attended church but couldnââ¬â¢t afford to leave their mark by sponsoring rich vestments, dazzling stained glass or soaring bell towers."
