Carrier pigeon carrying cocaine and marijuana in a bag attached to its chest is caught in bizarre plot to smuggle drugs into a Costa Rican prison
 
Bird was carrying a black pouch which camouflaged against its feathers
It was flying into La Reforma prison with 14g of cocaine, 14g of cannabis
Guards have previously captured iguanas, cats trying to smuggle drugs
Pigeon was taken to animal rescue centre where it was treated for injuries

A homing pigeon in Kuwait is no longer flying high after it was caught carrying a tiny backpack filled with drugs, according to reports.
 
Kuwaiti customs nabbed the feathered drug mule while it was flying near Iraq’s border, Al Arabiya English reported.
