The Donald
 
Tall and golden like a gilded casino tower, this choice is anything but subtle. 
 
    2 oz vodka
    .5 oz Goldschläger gold-leaf cinnamon schnapps
    Orange juice
 
Garnish: Orange wheel and cotton candy
 
Pour the vodka and Goldschläger into an ice-filled Collins glass, and top with the orange juice. Garnish with an orange wheel and big puff of cotton candy.

Because, like most people, we often sit around wondering what sort of parties Chester "Elegant" Arthur might've thrown, we decided to spend several weeks researching the presidents in an effort to figure out who liked partying, and who merely engaged in the political kind. And because no ranking is complete without some steadfast criteria, we came up with two important factors: sociability and vices.
 
The former was obviously weighed more heavily than the latter, as we didn't want to reward presidents choosing to explore their vices alone (because that's sad and doesn't involve lavish parties). Get your party rolling with a little creativity. Use a watermelon as a drink dispensor. Cut the top off and hollow it out like a pumpkin and insert a spigot. Great for watermelon mojitos.

Verdita
1 bunch of cilantro (a bunch is basically a handful)


1/2 bunch of mint

3 green jalapenos (this can be scaled back if it's too spicy)

1 can of pasteurised pineapple juice (Dole's 46 oz can works perfectly)

Blend the mix, and then strain it and chill well before serving.



Unlike the sangrita, which is meant to be sipped alongside tequila, the Verdita is meant to be shot immediately before you drink a shot of tequila. The experience is so tasty and refreshing, once you try it, you may retire your lime and salt accompaniment all together in favor of the Verdita!
